Showcasing Senior Living: ComfortCare Homes Featured on Good Day Kansas

Good Day Kansas, a TV lifestyle program on KSN News 3, featured ComfortCare Homes on August 30, 2023. The host of the show, Bri Smith, interviewed Kasey Breidenthal, who is the Vice President of Operations at ComfortCare Homes. During the interview, ComfortCare Homes discussed the multiple residential memory care renovation and construction projects that they are presently involved in.

The interview took place inside an East Wichita house that is currently being renovated by ComfortCare Homes to transform it into a modern, 10-bedroom memory care residence. This renovation is just one of ComfortCare Homes’ current construction projects. In West Wichita, ComfortCare Homes is building a brand new 12-bedroom senior care home that is scheduled to open in early spring of 2024. ComfortCare Homes is also working on multiple renovations to other homes to improve the properties in keeping with modern demands for senior living and quality dementia care.

“... more families are in need of memory care for loved ones living with dementia than ever before...”

– Micala Gingrich Gaylord

Micala Gingrich Gaylord, Chief Executive Officer at ComfortCare Homes, spoke enthusiastically about ComfortCare Homes being featured on Good Day Kansas. “There is a larger story here than our expansion,” she explained. “Today, as the baby boomer generation ages, more families are in need of memory care for loved ones living with dementia than ever before. Because of this, families and caregivers need strategies to meet the challenge.”
