ComfortCare Homes’ Purple Line Project was named to the Wichita Business Journal’s 2026 Innovation Awards. ComfortCare Homes’ leadership team accepted the award at a luncheon March 5 at Mark Arts.

Doug Stark, founder of ComfortCare Homes in Wichita, KS, has been recognized as an "Uncommon Citizen" by the Wichita Chamber of Commerce for his decades-long commitment to improving the local community.

Kasey Breidenthal, vice president of operations and sales, was recognized as one of the Women Who Lead in Major Companies in Wichita.

ComfortCare Homes was one of 11 companies selected for the first Workforce Innovators program offered by the Kansas Leadership Center through a grant from the Charles Koch Foundation.
